My Story

Ever since my Daddy was cared for by the wonderful Doctors and Nurses in Wakefield hospice I have wanted to do some fundraising. 

So a memory walk is the perfect way to start my fundraising journey. I will be walking 5 miles on 15th July alongside my Mummy and Grandad. 

My Daddy was in the hospice on 2 separate occasions and while he was in the staff always looked after myself and my little brother Jude too. They gave us ice creams and we had toys to play with whilst visiting Daddy. They were all so friendly. 
The care we all received was 'phenomenal' 

WOW with your support you helped me smash my initial target of £200 so now I've increased it to £700.
This will ensure the amazing nurses and care team can continue to provide special care to their patients and their families.
